I've found that Dolphin tends to crash with the big 1,4GB files, so I've shrunk Bust-a-Move (G3SE). Worked perfectly. 1080: avalanche:It shows an AX-Command error, but if you've got the patience to hold down ENTER for a couple of minutes, you can get as far as this: Animal Crossing (GAFE): shows the nintendo logo in b/w real quick, then does nothing (doesn't crash) WarioWorld (GWWE): boots but doesn't do anything else. Black screen Luigi's Mansion (GLMP): it should show the title screen and menu, but for me it's stuck at the NINTENDO logo.:( Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 2: Gives an 'unhandled mtsrimpl' error followed by AX-Command error, and does nothin. Starfox Adventures: AX-Command error into infinity. Wave Race Blue Storm: I don't think it boots (never goes to Core/Video in the lower left corner). Just black screen.
Nintendo Puzzle Collection (GPZJ): Works, but real slow (as opposed to bust-a-move which is perfect). Screen: Super Monkey Ball 2: AX-Command error, but if you hold down ENTER.really.
long, you'll get this: Hot Wheels World Racing (GHRE): Shows the 'licenced by Nintendo' and trademark/copyrights screen, but then does nothing. Zelda Wind Waker: Goes ingame, slow, unplayable due to blackness surrounding the characters (see shots): Micro Machines (GMOP): Shows entire intro movie! Mario Party 4: shows intro movie in garbled black and white: 18 Wheeler: all modes PLAYABLE (except arcade), ugly game though: Capcom VS. SNK 2 EO (GEOE): goes to 'press start' screen but flickers all the time. Ikaruga (GHRE): Plays for a minute then crashes.
Worms Blast (GWBP): Does nothing. SJedi Knight 2: Jedi outcast (GJKE): shows this when ran with interpreter (CPU), then hangs: P.S.: everything run at default settings, except when stated otherwise.
Athlon 1600+ 512DDR Radeon8500LE. I just tried 'The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker' - the Nintendo- and Dolby Digital logos show at (woohoo!) 150 FPS, the part with the ship is at 4-5 FPS, when the full island is shown, it goes down to 2-3 FPS. It goes up to the 'ship-speed' when it goes near the bridge.
I got 30 FPS (normal speed) in the game intro (storytelling, scroll) and 2-4 FPS in the in-game sequence after this. Graphic errors: -the cloud below the ship is missing (the little comic-style clouds will show up, but the big one doesn't) -'The Windwaker' looks screwed -The waves on the beach/cliffs sometimes disappear for a second -The girl with the bird standing on the edge of a cliff/in-game is calling you 'Big Brother' is in some kind of black area. The black.sometimes.
disappears when the camera is near the girl -What the hell does the girl look like.????? -OMG, WTF DOES LINK LOOK LIKE! Other errors: -When the game asks me if I want to continue without memory card, it won't let me chose 'yes'. FIX: Try using other controls than the default arrow keys, it worked for me when I changed it to WASD. Settings: default. Hardware: P4 1,8A, 512 MB RAMBUS-RAM, Radeo 9800pro. But it's still running at a whopping 500fps. Bust-A-Move-3000 (G3SE) - Works Well, but some glitches on selecting menu.
Can't see if something is highlighted or not. 65-75 FPS, sometimes freezes. SNK2 EO (GEOE) - Flickers on load, fast on menu (120+ fps), but freeze after pushing Start Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (GCCJ) - Does Nothing After Loading Hitman 2 - Silent Assassin (GHME) - unhandled mfsr-impl Error - and Stopps after saying Licensed by Nintendo Hot Wheels World Race (GHRE) - Licensed by Nintendo - Showed some Licensed copyright things and then freezes afterwards. Ikaruga (GIKP) - Beginning movie loads slow at around 4-5fps. Wait a little while and it'll ask for a memory card. Ignore it since it doesn't support it yet, push B to continue without saying. Killing some stuff will leave a block of squares on the screen lol, and freezes after some time of playing, even in the menu.
Steaming Music Works. Puzzle Collection (GPZJ) - Showing the Character's? Information at around 15fps - Showing a lot of White Screen at around 40-45fps - If you see only white screen, choose wireframe mode to see the stuff, then deselect the wireframe in game.
(-Dr.Mario-) - All I see are yellow pills on Dr. Mario, and Yellow Virus. (-Top Right Game-) - Running at 10-15fps playing the 3D Mode (-Yoshi's Cookies?, Bottom Left-) - Intro Running at 80fps!

Worms Blast (GWBP) - Does Nothing Zelda: The Wind Waker (GZLE) - Credits and Logo intro zoom by fast ie, Dolby Sound logo etc. 200+ fps, the slow down when displaying The Legend of Zelda.4-5 fps. Selecting Yes/No on Memory Card does not appear to be highlighted.
Selecting the name is highlighted, but very hard to see -^ - Game Intro, telling us the tablet thing, 100-120+ fps - On the Outset Island.slowly moving towards the GIRL at 3-5fps. The Girl is a scary red thing.so is the birdy.Okay that's all for now.
Edit: Added the language settings By the way.Link looked like a stoned Robin (from Batman). Animal Crossing = Shows nintendo logo a short time, nothing after that Atumare!! Made in wario = You can get ingame, everything messed up, minigames dont work Burnout = screen shows nothing Bust - a - Move 3000 = you can get ingame. Best working game i had Mario Kart Double Dash = dont work, screen shows nothing Prince of Persia - Sands of Time = shows nothing just 2 errors while loading Super Mario Sunshine = you can get ingame, but its black and white and all messed up Nintendo 64 Emulator = shows the Master Quest Loading screen, nothing after that to see screenshots of all those look at the Shots Thread. Also how to you take screenshots of dolphin running?
The printscreen button seems to be disabled. And how do you send pictures in this forum? Another thing, is Full Screen implemented yet? (Model: Advent 3316) For printscreen to work, you need to make sure the dolphin window is out of focus (switch to another window of, for example, windows explorer and resize it so you can see Dolphin running in the background). For pictures to display on this forum, you need to upload them to a publicly accessible server somewhere on the internet. Like your homepage. CPU: XP1800+ RAM: 640 Mo DDR GRAPHIC: Geforce II GTS (yhe i know i must change;o) It's amazing but i have games that work better with Dolphin than with the cube!!!
It's 'Sonic Adventure 2 Battle PAL'. With the cube and ACL 1.4 i can just have the SEGA screen and after it stay black. With Dolphin,i can watch the star movies and play 3 secondes;o) After this 3 secondes,i have some informations like number of lifes, etc, but the rest of the screen is black. But it still better than the cube;o) And the same with 'Crazy taxi NTSC': i have the firsts screens, but can't play with the cube and i can play with Dolphin!!!! Do you know why i have this problems with my cube???? Thanks, Ciao. Hi guys, new user here. My addition to the Compatibility List: Athlon XP 2100+ 512mb DDR Radeon 9200SE Super Mario Sunshine: Intro is very fuzzy with strange stuff scrolling extremely fast.
In game, Everything is displayed in black, with a couple of effects and text in white. Menu is fine, with a black instead of blue background. Run on interpreter & dynarec seperately, same thing.
Bust-a-move 3000: As with everyone else, runs perfectly, albeit 110-130fps. But usually 60-70. Does not boot up Nintendo logo. Ikaruga: Crashes after the game is loaded, when you begin shooting. Tested Megaman Network Transmission (U), game id = GREE Emulator must be in Interpreter mode, Dynarec just doesn't work at all. Shows a garbled menu, and once you get past that you can see the Capcom logo and the Arika logo.
Then everything just comes to a halt. Screenshots: Screenshot #1 (Screenshot #2 (Screenshot #3 (Hope this is of some help at all, and keep up the AWESOME work guys! I got Zelda to play the best so far. With 38 FPS other games and results Zelda Windtalker = starts out with 320FPS then creeps to about 38FPS ( i stand corrected it crawled right after i posted this) and FSP went to all time low of 8:( Mario Kart Double Dash = glitch like author/staff says Mario Party 5 = nothing ( crash) and for the guy that says others have better boxes got lesser results. I've looked in this forum didn't see too many guys with P4 3.0ghz wit HT wit 2gigs of DDR mem, especially not yours:). Sonic Adventure 2 Battle PAL: ok until actual gameplay.
Memcard error and company logos almost full speed, 3D intro sequence 2-3 FPS, menus 30-40 FPS, in-game 3-5 FPS. Problems: the game engine behaves quite weird.
Camera going crazy (even more than sometimes on the real console;)), sometimes 'bad polys' on screen (parts of Sonic, other object or the scenery stretched to the edge of the screen) etc. Sometimes that behavior even results in completly dissappearing scenery or Sonic leaving the scenery. Such weird stuff.

Anyone try crazy box in crazy taxi yet? I get 30fps. I am guessing because the stages are smaller, leaving more processor power. I also noticed my resources monitor wasnt at full capacity with that and Dynarec turned on.
But with intrepreter (sp?) on it, resources were full. Also, Kirbys air ride: Get past the non mem-card screen.
Let it sit for about 30 seconds and takes you to the menu screen. Then has options on the type of race you want. I chose free-run and chose a course, but then gave me a black screen. I will try with other options later.
Also, it shows the movie if you dont press start at the title screen. Hi guys, I've got a few games now tested Bust a move 3000 - Great and playeble like almost everyone Mario Sunshine - Get to ingame but to many black spots Zelda WW - Get to ingame but same as mario Puzzel Collection - It starts and i hava alot of whit scrrens, somtimes I have a screen of Dr Mario or an other game with the text press any key to continu, But I cant get to yoshy's cookie, Is there a way to come to that part of the game. (tryed wireframe and the other thing you can choose of) Mario Kart Double Dash - Does nothing. The rom loads, the core goes to 99,7 and video to 00,3, then core 100 and video 0 thats it. Is there a way for me to see the intro movie like it was online????
Thanks alot guy's Maarten. Small note on Ikaruga: if you try it with Interpreter in Video, it will tell you it has a GFX error right before stopping. Also, the game plays until the first minute and with sound if you try to start the game in the normal mode, but you can choose to start in any chapter you want to under the Conquest menu. This allows you to play more than a minute (the game alway crashes, though, but in other levels you can play longer), but without sound. A crash happens, most of the time, whenever there is going to be a huge graphic change (for example, when the background changes).
I don't know if this is useful, but I just wanted to help. Congratulations on the amazing emulator. Ok guys, here is my compatibility list.
Compiled from my own experience and all the users on this forum. Please feel free to add to, change country codes, or correct me. However if the game ISN'T working in your system, don't get rid of it here because it may boot for other people. Anyway here it is: In-game (sometimes in wireframe) Bust A Move 3000 G3SE Ikaruga GIKE Mario Kart: Double Dash GM4E Mario in Wario GZWJ Mario Sunshine GMSP Nintendo Puzzle Collection Zelda: Wind Waker GZLE Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Crazy Taxi GCTE Kirby's Air Ride Smash Brothers Darkened Eyes 18 Wheeler Timesplitters 2 Resident Evil Remake Bootable, non-playable Micro Machines Pikmin GPIE Hot Wheels World Race Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO MegaMan Network Transmission GREE Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen GNRJ Non-bootable Tarzan Untamed Soul Calibur 2 PAL GRSP DBZ budokai 1080 Avalanche GTEP Simpsons Hit & Run NBA Street Vol.

OK, for the people who cannot get Mario Kart Double Dash running: Just enable Interpreter mode and it will work. I can run the PAL version now. It goes fast in the menus, but slow in-game (5fps) And You can run Nintendo Puzzle Collection by enabling wireframe to get past the memcard check thingie. Here is some addons to the list: Bootable: Freeloader (GNHE) (Enable Framebuffer) Capcom vs SNK 2 EO (GEOE) (Hangs at title screen) Not-Bootable: Cubivore - Survival Of The Fittest (GCVE) Worms Blast (GWBP). Hi, first i want to congratulate all of you who created this amazing emulator so quickly. I've tried some games since i have the emu here's the results: ( see my spec's to compare to yours ) Bust a move 3000 pal G3SE: ( shrink: ok ) Everybody knows now;, works VEEEEERY fine ( Don't forget the 'knuckles trick'!!
It's much much better with transparency ) Ikaruga pal GIKP: ( shrink: ok ) I have to wait a little when i start the game ( white screen ) but it finally loads after 1 or 2 minutes then the menus runs at 50 to 120fps ( whaaa to much speed put a framelimit option!! When ingame it runs 7 to 14 fps ( 14 is still playable but i will go to my dreamcast for the moment.;p ) It finally crashes Dolphin when i stay too much in the first mission but when i try practice mode i can play all the ime i want ( i thought it would be interresting for coders or perhaps you already knew? ) the only difference between the gcm rom and my dream version is 1the speed 2strange black squares that appears when enemys explode (?!) 3the language. ^^' and of course the sound but i know that it will come sooner or later!
Luigi's Mansion pal GLMP: ( shrink:i think it's ok it gives me the same results. ) Got only the Nintendo Logo at 230 fps (!!) then nothing even in interpreter mode Wario World pal GWWE: ( shrink:not for the moment! Keep your big isos!
) i've putted some screenshots for this one cause it was hard running it:/. The game runs only in 'interpreter mode' and the only way to have it 'clean' it to add a post processing night glow, it will remove the white square that covers the window ( i use night glow 2 ) the game runs very slow 1 to 6 fps almost all the time ( sometimes 9 but not often ). Here are the screenshots = w/out night glow 2: with night glow 2: 'voila'. I also wanted to tell you that the emu runs with 40% to 90% of my 1800+ and take me 80 mo of memory when 2d and 90 to 100mo when 3d. That's all see you soon!
Fzero GX USA - Game boots with uminpliment op message that comes up twice, then screen flashes with logo, if u wait 4 mins, it will complain about no memory card being present, then it freezes at 200.1fps, left if for another 4mins, nutthin but saw some flashes, maybe if i leave it longer it may get into the game:satisfied more to come soon Currently downloading: Zelda Orcania of Time Tony Hawks Underground Specs: Amd athlon 1700+ oc to amd xp [email protected] geoforce 2 mx400 384 mb pc133 ram volcano 12 cooling. ShinGouki I totally agree with you, even a basic up to date list ie; Luigis Haunted Mansion PAL Shrunk.Displays Nintendo logo only Mario Party 4 USA etc. I think it may even prevent people from asking in the regular forum about game compatibility, as to the pain of reading through the 14 or so pages so far. (Don't get me wrong, I did it!:) ) But if its too much of a pain I totally understand. Just my two cents.
PS; I'm new to these boards and I just want to send an official congrats to the team on the work done thus far. I'm really surprised Gamecube emulation is happening to a greater extent than either of the other two next gen systems. Way to go!:ph34r. These are the games I've tested on Dolphin. I made the isos by myself using the broadband connection, so I don't know if in some cases I have taken them correctly, because in some cases they don't work even on the cube, but it can be a matter of the loader. I've tried to load them both using interpret mode and compile mode, if nothing is specified it means the result for that game is the same:) Anyway, this is the list Prince of Persia USA - a message says 'unhandled mfsrimpl' and then the screen remains black (on the Cube the iso works very well) Donkey Konga JAP - black screen (doesn't work on the Cube) F-Zero JAP - using interpret shows a message 'unhandled mtstrinimpl' then shows the Nintendo/Sega logo flickering but nothing more. On compile mode Dolphin crashes immediately (works with bugs and slow on Cube) Viewtiful Joe JAP (not Revival, the first one) - Sad, black screen:( (doesn't work on Cube) Mario Kart USA - Works in interpret mode but sloooooooow My PC: Pentium 4 2,6 ghz 256 mb ram ati radeon 9200 (128 mb ram) winxp home.
Bust a move 3000 - almost perfect hardly any gfx errors and no crashes played 30mins straight wut an addictive game, good for beginners to download Fzero-GX - Game shows intro then brags about unimplimented., twice, it will loop but if u leave it for 5 mins it will ask u for the memory card and then freezes maybe if I leave it more it will get into the game, furthur testing is needed. Luigi's mansion - Shows intro, thats it, nothing else I think this is a video card problem, ( I have a geoforce 2 mx440) Mario Kart double dash: Runs, no crashes, minor gfx error in menu's, let game run for 7 mins but game was unplayable, cudnt even run it in wireframe, missing textures mostly black lmao. Metroid Prime - Keep dreaming guys, doent even run, 100% cpu but nuthin else for now SoulCalibur 2 - Black screen 100% cpu, similar to metroid prime, just wait till the next version these rom just wont boot. Super Mario Sunshine - Game is playable but with A LOT OF MISSING TEXTURES!, lots of errors and slow too, can get into game but very slow and difficult to play. Legend of Zelda Orcania of time + Master quest - Can get into the menu, PLAY MUSIC SO SOUND SEEMS TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!, but when u go to play a movie or a game, a message 'cpu reset' appears. Tony Hawks Underground - Unimplimented message times infinite, doesnt start at all!
Zelda Windwaker - Get into game, very fast at first but slow in game + hard to play because everything is black! My advice to ppl out there, unless u have a gf5200 or more like the authors said, u can expect missing textures and slow speeds like Im getting, give the emulator more time, it still needs work and if u are keen on playing gamecube games, go buy one and wait till the emulator becomes more advanced, even if gamecube is emulated YOU WILL NEED A FAST PROCESSOR and a $200 video card to achieve good emulation. Specs: amd athlon xp [email protected] oc to [email protected] 384mb ram.ty gf2 mx440 volcano 12 heatsink cooling @5000rpm.

No tools at all just need Dolphin TEASER and rename your.iso into.gcm ( if needed ) so Dolphin could reconize it then just run the game and it should work even on a geforce 4 MX 420. For me - as stated in my initial compat report for the game and shown in the screenshots in the shots (both seemingly ignored by everyone?) - the game engine is acting up, but not for him! I just want some clarity about that game. Yes, no doubt there are significant core errors in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. They can easily be avoided. If in one player, the 'Evil' mode or whatever it's called, runs flawlessly, but the 'Hero' mode has core errors where either the camera is in the wrong direction or Sonic just fly's up into the air endlessly. In Hero's mode, just don't press any directional key untill you're down on the ground, and simply don't take the jumps (although this makes it boring:P). On another note, bLAdEbLA, i'll have another 25 tested games within the week:) Keep up the compat listing guys!;).

Dark Side Story also has some core errors - just not as notable as Sonic shooting up in the sky. Eggman often whips back and forth, forcing a full stop of the walker.
That can get really annoying.and all that talk about SA2B reminds me of finally getting a proper working Memcard for my Cube. An advice: never-ever buy Joytech GCN Memcards!

After another 1/2 an hour or so, pressing various buttons, I had all but given up, when all of a sudden the Monkey Ball title music started blaring at me! After a lot more waiting and button pressing, I finally managed to get to the last menu (player select), running out of patience to see if it gets in-game. Well at least I'm excited. Head here for the shots: http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?p=186148#post186148. Okay just tested Sonic Mega Collection GSOP.
It works throughout the menus (odd glitches here and there, as well as a load of flickering almost constantly), but when you choose a game to run, and it loads it, I get core 100.0 and it just hangs. Shame that:( oh yeah, and don't bother testing it on Dynarec, it doesn't go anywhere. Best results: Interpreter / 640x480 / Interpret Enabled or disabled Framebuffer doesn't seem to make any difference, either. Shrinking: Everything goes black, but it doesn't crash!:D.
Alright guys, okay here is the first version of the Compatibility Search util. It has all of the info from here.tests / most id's / notes. It's simple enough, start it up, and type in a search criteria.
Hit the enter key / search button, and it will display any games featuring the search text in the title. I'll try and keep this updated as much as possible, plus there will be new versions with extra little features, like the shrunk GCM sizes idea. Anyway, grab it from here (Btw: if you delete the.xml file the program is buggered, so don't! I'll write some code that generates a new one soon. I'll also convert the app to C in a day or two, I just wanted to get something up and running quickly. Thanks Nikkidid0 - I'll get that sorted. edit Done, keep em coming too.
I'll be re-jiggin' the list a bit over the next couple of days. It's getting a little messy in there, so more nodes are required. If there is any more info people want, let me know, so far I have / will have these nodes: Name = Game Name. Region = Europe, US, Jap.
Notes = Boots / Doesn't Boot. Shrunk Size = Duh! Good Boot = Required for program use only. Tested By = user name / contributor. Boot Notes = How to get the GCM to boot.

I might as well attach my little compatabilty list (mostly focusing on shrinking the isos). NickKidid0 - Dolphin Teaser compatability log. All isos garbage data removal + cropping was done with cgcman.exe. I find that cgcman.exe is best when it comes to shrinking the isos, however becuase it scans and stacks duplicate files on top of each other it may cause the iso to become non-bootable. This shouldn't be a problem unless there are two filenames with the same size/name but are different internally.
This is a rare case and hasn't occured yet so i will continue to use this tool for compression. That is very dumb question but where i need game ID???and what it is? I think you're asking what the game ID is? If I'm not answering your question, I apologize for misunderstanding you.
The Game ID comes with your game when you RIP it, it identifies some specific charachteristics about your 'image'. You will HAVE a game ID when you have a ripped Gamecube Disc on your hard drive and you see it in Dolphin. If your asking what the codes stand for in the game ID, I think I'd better let someone else field that question.:ninja.
